Captain Zampieri sent this postcard to his mother, with these messages on the reverse:
"Mamma, guarda che ti vieni [?] di riconosceri nel gruppo – Felice Zampieri"
"platone dei voluntari Triestine fotografato alla vigile della partenza per il fronte de Bologna (luglio 1915)" [Rough translation: Mamma, look to see who you recognize in the group. ... [This is a] platoon of volunteers from Trieste, photographed on the eve of their departure to the front near Bologna, July 1915.]
