Advise on creation and use of metadata for digital collections. Maintain integrity of the database through oversight of authority control unit. Coordinate access to remote resources by working closely with Electronic Resources and Technology Projects Teams. Use and apply standards and rules of AACR-2 and MARC-21 using OCLC Connexion, Ex Libris Voyager ILS, and the Library of Congress professional cataloging tools. Provide regular reference services via chat, phone, email, and face-to-face. Participate in unit, university, community and professional service opportunities.

Routinely used Passport and Connexion from OCLC; familiar with Endeavor's Voyager system for libraries, and the Library of Congress' Cataloger's Desktop and Classification Web database utility programs. Elected as treasurer to the Library Staff Advisory Board in 2002, then as chair in 2003. Awarded a Staff Development Grant by the Friends of the University Libraries, February, 2004.

Coordinated author signings and events. Supervised day to day operations of the store and staff for owners who left the area in 1995.

Isher Artifacts, Kalamazoo, Michigan. Partner. Prototype and custom design and machining. Manage production facility of science-fiction related toys and props. Also design and create unique works of fiber art with hand-painted silk and felted wool.

United States Air Force. Honorably discharged with the rank of E-5, Staff sergent. Served in base supply as a Materiel Facilities Specialist at Aviano AB, Italy, and Mountain Home AFB, Idaho.
